To develop a distinct, vintage-inspired color grade for a music video. The goal was to create a timeless, nostalgic atmosphere that complemented the retro set design, particularly the classic red telephone booth.

My approach was to craft a warm and inviting look that felt like it was shot on classic film. I achieved this by adjusting the color temperature and tint to evoke a sense of warmth and history. I then subtly lifted the blacks and added a gentle matte finish to soften the contrast and further enhance the film-like quality. Careful attention was paid to the primary colors, ensuring the iconic red of the phone booth remained vibrant and true while balancing it with natural skin tones.

The final color grade successfully established a cohesive and immersive visual identity. The grading not only enhanced the vintage aesthetic but also created a rich, narrative-driven atmosphere that was essential to the music video’s storytelling.
