Project Showcase: Post-Production & Color for “Aaley Seema” Music Video
Project Overview: This project was the post-production and final delivery of the music video for the song “Aaley Seema” by Dilshan Rajapaksha featuring Santhur Meddegoda. The primary objective was to establish a high-quality, cinematic visual grade that consistently supported the song’s narrative.
My Role: I served as the Colorist and Post-Production Supervisor.
Process & Execution: My dual role involved overseeing the entire post-production pipeline and executing the final color grade.
Post-Production Supervision: I managed the workflow to ensure a smooth, efficient process from editing to final mastering, guaranteeing technical excellence.
Color Grading: My focus was on establishing a cinematic grade that was consistent across all shots. This involved creating a high-quality visual finish that enhanced the emotional depth of the music video’s story.
The successful release of the music video demonstrates effective creative collaboration and technical proficiency in post-production. It was a pleasure working with such a dedicated team.
